Terms of
the workbench.

These terms govern Local Data Workbench, provided by Sociobot. By installing or using the software, you agree to them.

License and acceptable use

The free features may be used without purchase. A paid license is a one-time, personal license for one individual on their devices; it is not transferable for resale. The software is also distributed under the MIT License for source-code use. You may not misuse the billing or license service, distribute license tokens, or use the software unlawfully.

Purchases and refunds

Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record. The price and included features are shown before checkout. Applicable taxes are handled at checkout. Refunds are handled by the merchant of record; a refunded purchase revokes its license token.

Your data and responsibility

You control the files you open and outputs you create. Keep backups and validate important transformations before relying on an export. You must have the right to process the data you select. The app does not upload file contents to us.

Availability and warranties

The software is provided “as is,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation, to the maximum extent allowed by law. Preview releases are unsigned unless stated otherwise.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Sociobot is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss of data or profits. Our total liability for a paid license is limited to the amount paid for it.
